Please Note: Some GPS and Internet maps show CT Route 106 going along Ridgefield Road by the church. It doesn't, only CT Route 33 does.
From Hartford/Boston I 84: Take Exit 3, Route 7 south, towards Norwalk. Remain on Route 7 for about 12 miles. When you are approaching Wilton Center, you will see the Wilton High School, the town tennis courts and signs for the Wilton train station and Route 33 all on your right. Turn right onto Route 33 north at the traffic light just after the train station traffic light. Proceed about ½ mile on route 33. The church will be the first building you see on the right. There are parking lots on both sides of the building and offsite at the Wilton Playshop on Lovers Lane and Behind "Old Town Hall." Access this parking area from Belden Hill Lane.
From New Haven - Merritt Parkway south: Take Exit 41, to route 33. The sign will say Westport - Wilton. Turn left at the end of the ramp to take rte. 33 north. The church is about 4 miles from this point. You will remain on route 33 all the way to the church. There is a section of route 33 which is also route 7. Continue north on this “shared” section of road. At the traffic light near Wilton Center, turn left, staying on route 33 as route 7 continues north. (There's a Gulf gas station on the corner of 33 & 7). After the turn, proceed about ½ mile. The church will be the first building you see on the right. There are parking lots on both sides of the building and offsite at the Wilton Playshop on Lovers Lane and Behind "Old Town Hall." Access this parking area from Belden Hill Lane.
Alternate from New Haven – Merritt Parkway south: Go past the Wilton/Westport exit to exit 39B, Rte.7 north Danbury. Bear right at light to take rte. 7 north. The church is about 4 miles from this point and most of the trip will be on rte. 7. There is a section of route 7 which is also route 33. Continue north on this “shared” section of road. At the traffic light near Wilton Center, turn left, staying on route 33 as route 7 continues north. After the turn proceed about ½ mile. The church will be the first building you see on the right. There are parking lots on both sides of the building and offsite at the Wilton Playshop on Lovers Lane and Behind "Old Town Hall." Access this parking area from Belden Hill Lane.
From New York on the Merritt Parkway: (The Hutchinson River Parkway becomes the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut.) Take Exit 39B for Rte. 7 North towards Wilton/Danbury. This will bring you onto the Route 7 Expressway. From here the directions are the same as those from I95, below.
From New York OR New Haven on I95 for cars or trucks (all main roads. See easy "back way" to church below.):
Take Exit 15, Route 7 Expressway north. Signs will say Danbury - Wilton. This is a short expressway, which ends at a traffic light. Ignore the exits along the way and follow the thruway all the way to the traffic light. At the end of the Expressway, turn right onto Grist Mill Road, then left onto Route 7 north. Travel north on Route 7 for about 2 miles where Route 33 joins Route 7. Turn left at this traffic light and continue north for about 1.5 miles where you'll make another left turn at a traffic light to remain on Route 33 north. (Route 7 continues north.) After the turn proceed about ½ mile. The church will be the first building you see on the right. There are parking lots on both sides of the building and offsite at the Wilton Playshop on Lovers Lane and Behind "Old Town Hall." Access this parking area from Belden Hill Lane.
From New York OR New Haven on I95 for CARS ONLY - no thru trucks : The following is “the back way” to the church but is very easy and leads you right to the church. Take Exit 15, Route 7 Expressway north. Signs will say Danbury - Wilton. This is a short expressway, which ends at a traffic light. Ignore the exits along the way and follow the thruway all the way to the traffic light. Move into the left hand lane as you approach the light. You will be taking a left onto Grist Mill Road. Follow Grist Mill Road (a very short distance) to the end. At the stop sign take a right onto Belden Hill Road. (Don’t get fooled by the first right which is Old Belden Hill.) Follow Belden Hill to the end – about 3 miles. There is a stop light where it meets Route 33. (You will have gone through two four-way stops along the way.) You will see the Wilton Congregational Church directly across the intersection. There are parking lots on both sides of the building and offsite at the Wilton Playshop on Lovers Lane and Behind "Old Town Hall." Access this parking area from Belden Hill Lane.
