Supporting Our 4th Century
300 Years of Faith. 100 Years Ahead.
In 2026, Wilton Congregational Church celebrates 300 years of faithful witness in our community.
Our sanctuary was built in 1790. In 1990, a previous generation established the 3rd Century Fund to preserve and care for our building. We stand on their shoulders.
Now it is our turn.
As we enter our fourth century, we are investing not just in a building, but in a future — for our children, grandchildren, and for those who do not yet know they are searching for a spiritual home.

The 4th Century Project
A Foundation for Our Future Together
Our leadership has identified two critical initiatives that will shape the next 100 years of Wilton Congregational Church.
Facility Enhancements
Creating spaces that welcome, gather, and inspire
We are investing in thoughtful improvements that will:
- Combine the Colonial Room and Library into a versatile, elegant multi-use space
- Refresh meeting rooms, offices, and youth spaces
- Upgrade sound and IT systems
- Reimagine underutilized areas into vibrant gathering places
These improvements will better serve worship, weddings, funerals, community events, and youth programming.
Estimated Investment: $400,000 – $500,000
A New Ministry Position
Expanding our reach and strengthening community engagement
To grow and sustain our congregation, we will establish a new Community Engagement & Outreach Coordinator.
This role will:
- Welcome and engage those seeking a worship community
- Develop and coordinate community events
- Strengthen our digital and social media presence
- Support clergy and youth programming
This investment ensures we are not only maintaining a building, but actively growing a thriving spiritual community.
Estimated Investment: $400,000 – $500,000
(4–5 year funding toward endowment)
